Due to the enameled cast iron, this pot can last for many years to come. The special drop system design of the lid keeps the food juicy. It is ideal for roasting, stewing, or braising. It is also great for lentil soup, chili, or bread baking. You can literally cook anything in it. The dimensions of the Dutch oven are approximately: 37(L) x 23(W) x 18.5(H) cm. The thickness of its base is about 4.5 mm. We have had this beautiful pot for about 2 years and love it very much. There are some stains at the bottom of the pot. See the picture.
